TASTING NOTES FROM THE CHEF
“v.9 Wonder was born from the idea that a moment of wonder is a kind of inner glow - something that radiates out and gently draws you curiously forward. I kept returning to Plato’s line, "Wonder is the feeling of a philosopher; and philosophy begins in wonder”, because I love the feeling of discovery: the moment your senses sharpen, like tasting a new word as it swills around your mouth for the first time. It’s the same joy you see in children encountering the world, finding delight in what we take for granted. We collaborated with our perfumers: Nisrine Bouazzaoui Grillé and Amélie Jacquin to create V.9 Wonder. In a degustation menu context, there is something deeply “foodie” in the way Wonder unfolds: the vibrant citrus spark at the start, the warm glow of spices like Timut Pepper, and the way it radiates outward like flavour blooming across the palate. I wanted the perfume to feel open-ended, because curiosity never concludes - it leads from one thing to another.”
