An exploration of the heart; of love and lust, piousness and sin.
The Tale
It is then Lyssan comes across the mystical flower, a perfect red rose. It is only when she picks it up from the ground to look at it more closely that a door, previously hidden in a rockface, swings open.

Sinful Rose is the brand new launch from Mihan Aromatics. Released only a month before our 12 Days of Spritzmas, this is a scent you most likely haven’t tried yet… An ode to love in all its forms, this rose fragrance by local Fitzroy perfume house Mihan Aromatics tells a love story. One of allure, temptation, seduction, devotion, loosely inspired by the iconic Nick Cave and Kylie Minogue duet, Where the Wild Roses Grow.
Sinful Rose is initially a very sweet yet dense rose scent. It’s certainly a deep red coloured rose that is plump and fully blooming. There’s a slight sharpness, perhaps the geranium that has a fruity, green intensity to it. As we first spray Sinful Rose, we can envision holding the most perfectly formed rose in our hand; glorious yet also delicate. So delicate, its destruction is inveitable. You begin to pluck the petals, forever altering the perfectly formed rose, scattering her petals across the ground.
The warm, woody notes of resin start to release as the rose petals hit the ground, where the rose takes on a new life. The petals sit amongst the wood, the tree roots, the bark, the dirt. The rose is no longer a rose as we know it. The powerhouse note of oud takes over, followed by sandalwood, the scattered pieces of the rose now one with the earth, and from where she will soon be reborn.
